This unit fits 1979-2015 2 stroke 135-200 2.0-2.4-2.5 Mercury's. This exact unit without the zinc anode was produced from 1979-1990's. The newer units have a rectangular zinc anode over the cavitation plate instead of the slits. In a fresh water application is doesn't matter at all. All our gearcases have been tested by our mechanics. Will ship with a new water pump impeller and new gear oil...ready to bolt on! PLEASE be sure the unit we have will fit your particular configuration of year, model, horsepower and drive shaft length
