This lower was removed from a 1979-mid 80's engine. It has the Plastic Screens and preload pin. it will work on 1979-Mid 2000's We can paint the lower to match your mariner gray. All our gearcases have been tested by our mechanics. Will ship with a new water pump impeller and new gear oil...ready to bolt on! PLEASE be sure the unit we have will fit your particular configuration of year, model, horsepower and drive shaft length
