Part: Excellent Used Johnson/Evinrude Lower Unit. Fits all 2 cylinder 40-48-50 Johnson and Evinrude's from 1993-2005 with the 20" shaft. This unit has the full sizes driveshaft going all of the way up ('93-'05). If your driveshaft tapers down toward the top this is not the correct lower unit. 1989-1992 taper down at the top. Your shaft could be installed in this unit and it would work. Please see the picture of the shift and driveshaft to be sure it matches yours. Please be certain the lower unit will fit your particular shaft length, model and year before bidding. Please see the pictures below. Unit will come with new water pump kit & new gear lube...just unbolt your other unit and bolt this on!!
